Hey, sorry it took me so long to respond, but school was killer during finals and blah blah blah. Those of you that are in college know what I'm talking about, there is hardly time to do anything. So here I am to say that I am now on my Christmas break until the end of January and I hope to see some of you that are home from college. I also wanted to let everyone know that future blogs will now be in the "new blog" area because the website decided to update the blog setup and will not transfer all of my old entries to the new one correctly. Thanks freewebs! Also, some of the links might not work here on the old page anymore and some photo links may have been disabled. See you on the new page, and have a great New Years.
So, it's the night before midterms; am I ready? Of course not (as usual). I studied for awhile today for my upcoming Programming midterm but couldn't seem to learn any of the new concepts. It's like it was going in one ear and out the other; so many terms as well. Although I was discouraged, I still took a look at the sample midterm that my teacher had given me. But it confused me even more.Here I am now, writing about my inability to learn. I still think I will do pretty well though because I understand enough to get by and have been doing very well on the programs we have been writing and learning about. I will let you know how it goes. (I also have an Environmental Science midterm tomorrow that I haven't started studying). Fortunately for me, it will all be multiple choice which gives me a fighting chance.Now for a real update. It is halfway into the new school semester and I have reached the climax of my tiredness. Trying to juggle 4 classes and working 20+ hours a week is a real handful. I don't know how much of it I can take, but I have been trying to get the most sleep that I can on Tuesdays (since I have no class that day) and it seems to be helping balance out the lack of sleep the rest of the week. Also, we just got a new manager at work. If you haven't already heard, I work at Blockbuster. The old manager was really great and laid back; the new manager is still pretty laid back but more sales aggressive. We have to hit our totals every week or we will probably get fired after awhile. On top of that stress, we just hired 4 new people when all we needed was 2 or 3 max. It's making some people including me a little scared for our jobs. Needless to say I have starting looking for alternate job opportunities. Not to say that I will quit my current job (because I love it), but it will be nice to look as a precaution. So if anyone knows places that are hiring let me know.I've also stopped producing videos for JG_Films. I just haven't had time lately. I hope to make one during Christmas break or something. The last one that I made was God of Wonders and that was a long time ago. Oh, and just so you know, you cannot find my videos online anymore. I deleted them. I hope to however make them available for download on THIS sight in the future. The downside to that is the file sizes will be very large (unless I can compress them while still keeping their quality). In addition I have however, been photo shopping photos for JG_Inc that can be seen on Myspace, or Facebook. If you don't know the link to my pages or are not already on my friends list, leave me a message and I can give it to you. I have made a few new ones for Halloween this year; others include a hiking photo and a fall themed photo. All around I have had a mediocre few months where not much has really been going on beside work and school. Pretty dull, but I am looking forward to the Christmas break (one full month!). One last thing to say before I close this post. I CAN"T WAIT FOR RAIN! LOVE THE WINTER!
- BUMP -Hey everyone, this is a blog bump. What this means is that it has been so long since I have posted a relevant post, that I am going to sum up what has happened in a short post and then get back on track. This blog bump will be in list form. I'd also like to say before I get started that I will be making a few more changes to the website such as...the videos link will now be called JG Films; which, if your totally out of the loop, is my "company". And I will be trying to condense the photos page, and add more downloads -- Let's start the list now:1. Got the job at Blockbuster2. Final projects due in the next few weeks at school3.
